# Setting up an SMS account

RedeemSG has transitioned from Twilio to gov.sg as part of a government mandate. Therefore, all messages from RedeemSG will be sent via the gov.sg SenderID starting June 2024. 

All SMS costs are waived until July 2025; after that, charges will be applied to the agency.
